11/0 Circle Hooks

The circle hook has been around for years, and is one of the best style of hooks for just baiting up, casting it out and letting the fish do the rest. With a slightly turned-in, ultra-sharp hook point, the circle hook will usually end up pinned in the corner of the mouth. This is a great hook to use when the rod can be set up in a rod-holder and let the fish simply hook themselves.

The circle design is the perfect deep water bottom fishing hook, with paternoster dropper-style rigs or normal boat fishing with cut baits. Most of the time, when using this style of hook you will not have to strike to set the hook. Just set and leave!
